We are looking for candidates having experience into shipping operations

  • Work on inter-related functions of Sales/Customer Service/Operations/Business Administration with specific focus on Operation related business tasks including Equipment, Port & Terminal, Operations Steering, transport, etc.
  • ·       Monitor, enhance and optimize all related processes
  • ·       Conduct process reviews in the Areas/QSC
  • ·       Act as the first level support as helpdesk for issues related to relevant applications and systems
  • ·       Collaborate with Super users in resolving issues and provide feedback on user/SU training needs
  • ·       Conceptually accompany the development and implementation of IT Systems and applications as a system expert
  • ·       Assist and evaluate systems tests
  • ·       Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to the management team, as required.
  • It is an individual contributor role.

Technical Skills.

  • ·       Knowledge of Hapag-Lloyd Systems
  • ·       Experience in giving trainings on the job, in classrooms and virtual classrooms
  • ·       Good knowledge of HL’s products and equipment, processes, blue-print and functions
  • ·       Strong PC skills and expertise in Microsoft Office
  • ·       Ability and willingness to travel (short and medium durations)
