Key Responsibilities:
- Proposes and develops commercial strategy for each customer defined in his/her portfolio.
- Delivery Planning in how to establish and maintain major accounts performance quarterly.
- Has strong relationship with BCOs (Beneficiary Cargo Owners).
- Monitors competitors’ activity in each account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated accurately.
- Manages and keeps the account trying to solve the customer's problems as well as ensures the potential profitability of such operations.
- Ability to work in a self-directed way.
- Enjoys fast-moving environment.
- Initiative and proactive.
- Collects information from the market: Rates; Competitors; Customers; Opportunities/Projects.
- Planning of Contacts (Engage visits). Review priorities with sales manager.
- Preparation of Contacts: Statistics; Credits; Credit History; Demurrage/Debt; Service and Rates to offer; Visits/Contact File.
- Visit / Contact customers: Present the products/Services of the Company; Obtain information about competition; Explore new projects or planned expansions by customers; Vision of volumes to export or import.
- Update customer database and ensure healthy pipeline in Salesforce.
- Ability to travel domestically in regular basis
