Your tasks

The Finance Digital Transformation is an ongoing process within the Finance function, centered on S/4HANA greenfield approach (Program fast4ward) and other digital initiatives to elevate Finance at Hapag-Lloyd. We look for a Digital Transformation Project Manager to plan, manage, and steer this transformation, with an initial focus on deploying S/4HANA globally and a long-term goal of enhancing the Finance function with further digital capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and act as a change agent within the program and the company.

Your task will include:

  • Develop program and project plans with global and local teams
  • Lead and execute S/4HANA deployment in all business regions
  • Take the Lead to perform Integration Management activities across projects
  • Be the contact partner and Integration Manager for other Technology platform teams within the company; developing joint and aligned roadmap and resource plans (e.g.: FIS)
  • Identify, Assess, mitigate and Report Program and Project Risks
  • Monitor and Report on projects progress and performance
  • Map, Plan and communicate with stakeholders and partners regularly.
  • Ensure projects meet quality and compliance standards
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership teams

Your profile

  • University Degree or equivalent education and/or work experience in business or IT in similar roles, preferably with experience working in the Shipping industry in a global environment
  • Strong leadership and change management skills
  • Ability to communicate the benefits of digitalization effectively
  • Experience in managing digital transformation projects
  • Proven track record in deploying S/4HANA or similar systems globally
  • Experience with SAP Activate or other Agile Methodologies
  • Experience with Enterprise Architecture Methodologies and LeanIX nice to have
