Connecting with colleagues and customers worldwide is a big part of our recipe for success, fueling a high need for a solid Travel & Expense system. You can now become the main driver of our global Concur implementation, thereby shaping everyone’s travel experience and making sure that Hapag-Lloyd stays better connected than ever.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Jointly with your teammates and external advisors, you will take responsibility of the global implementation and rollout of our Concur system (including different modules like Travel & Expense)
  • You will Implement, configure and extend Concur based on close alignment and cooperation with your colleagues around the globe
  • You also define global standards and governance and map local requirements against it
  • Ensure the perfect integration of Concur by developing and maintaining respective interfaces with other modules of Hapag-Lloyd’s IT landscape (especially with our finance systems)
  • Lastly, you are responsible for the change management and communication related to platform updates/upgrades, as well as platform changes across all impacted user groups worldwide

Requirements and Qualifications:

What you'll need to succeed

  • You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a similar qualification
  • You bring strong skills in design, implementation and configuration of SAP Concur, ideally through several projects
  • You have hands-on experience in requirements engineering and close communication with business stakeholders comes natural to you
  • You enjoy working independently and taking ownership for your tasks
  • Being part of a collaborative team and supporting your colleagues is important to you
  • You speak and write fluent English
  • You have a genuine interest for technology and innovation – so that you can join our lively discussions about the technologies and solutions that we’re using 

German language expectations: We expect all international candidates to be willing to learn at least the basics of the German language in case they are accepted for the position. This will enable you to participate in social and community life in Germany and at our company premises in the best possible way.
