Tasks and Responsibilities

  • You are responsible to further evolve the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) which includes application, data model and interfaces into the Hapag-Lloyd landscape
  • You design the CMDB regarding discovery, information reconciliation, automation and workflows, reporting, testing and documentation
  • In close cooperation with CMDB Process Manager you are responsible for an optimal CMDB integration into Hapag-Lloyd process landscape with particular focus on operational excellency
  • You are taking care of the operational application maintenance, install updates and patches, manage roles and rights, and ensure configuration information data integrity following a KPI-based approach to be monitored
  • You are responsible for the provider management and key contact in case of support issues

Your profile

  • Deep CMDB-related knowledge and understanding, most beneficially Atlassian products, and enthusiasm to make the CMDB the central repository at Hapag-Lloyd
  • Proven experience in SQL and C# programming
  • Proven experience in meta model and data structure design
  • Proven experience in DevOps and agile projects
  • Knowledge of holistic IT Service Management (ITSM) processes based on common organizational principles (e.g. ITIL) would be beneficial
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, German beneficial
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills
