Your responsibilities:

You will be guiding a team of four and play a key role in driving change and supporting the department’s Senior Director. You will work with key stakeholders from different departments to drive financial performance by providing leadership, insight and guidance on financial information and business performance.   • Functional management and strategical development of a Controlling division
  • Evolution of controlling and reporting systems; management of the budget process
  • Identification of optimization potential within our internal processes and initiation of appropriate activities or projects
  • Constant increase in efficiency through digitalization and system implementation of controlling processes and data models and in the interfaces to different departments
  • Analysis and commentary of plan/actual deviations in the context of monthly/quarterly closing as well as budget/forecast processes with a view to help management better understanding of business performance
  • Planning, forecasting and monitoring of key financial figures
  • Preparation of presentations for Senior Management

Your profile:

  • University degree in business or science (Bachelor or Master) or similar qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in guiding teams with oversight responsibilities to think strategically and making decisions
  • Ability to challenge and driving change about current processes, financial results and strategical plans
  • Ability to deal effectively with key management
  • Profound knowledge in working with BI tools (e.g. QlikView, Infor) and functional systems (SAP CO, etc.)
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator across functions and within a multinational organization
  • Due to regular intensive cooperation with colleagues outside of Germany, this position requires a very great level of English language skills - both in writing and orally
